Cytocentrics AG was founded in 2001 as a spin-off from the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tuebingen (NMI). The foundation is based upon several years of intensive research of the founders Dr. Thomas Knott and Dr. Alfred Stett. The company has a solid scientific background backed by an experienced management team, outstanding partners and a world-class scientific advisor, Nobel Prize winner Prof. Erwin Neher.

Our products and technologies are protected by five patent families and patent applications in the areas of electrophysiology, cell biology and microsystems technology.
