The CytoPatch™ Instrument combines the high data quality known from the manual patch clamp with a complete process and assay automation. A key feature of the CytoPatch™ Instrument is its modular concept: Each instrument is equipped with its own patch clamp amplifier and advanced perfusion system along with its own cell, buffer and compound supply. One CytoPatch™ Instrument can work either as a stand-alone device or as a multiple unit system in which up to 20 individual instruments can be connected on a PC network. This modular built-up minimizes delay times and even makes it possible to run, in parallel, different assays with different cell types.

With the CytoPatch™ Instrument screening studies can be run under GLP compliance.
